What AI Visibility Platforms Cost in 2026: Public Prices, Compared
An AI visibility platform is a tool that shows where AI assistants name your brand, and it costs $29 to $495 a month on a public plan. Price follows the number of buyer questions tracked, the engines covered, and whether it only reports or also makes the fixes. Enterprise tiers are custom. Agent platforms that do the work start much higher. Every price below was read on the vendor's own page on October 28, 2026.

What drives the price up or down?
Five things set the price: how many buyer questions you track, how many AI engines you cover, how many brands or projects you run, how many people need a seat, and whether the platform acts on what it finds. The first one dominates. Otterly's three plans go from 15 to 400 prompts and from $29 to $489; Peec's go from 50 to 350 prompts and from $95 to $495 (both checked October 28, 2026).
- Prompts tracked. A prompt is one buyer question, asked on a schedule. 50 is enough for one product line. A company with four product lines in three countries needs several hundred.
- Engines covered. Most entry plans cover 3 or 4 engines. Claude, Gemini or Google AI Mode are often add-ons.
- Projects and brands. Agencies and multi-brand groups pay per workspace.
- Seats. Some vendors include unlimited users; others charge per seat.
- Acting on the data. Recommendations are included in most mid-tier plans. Writing the content, earning the mentions and shipping technical fixes is a different product, and it is priced like a team, not a tool.
What budget fits a mid-market company?
For tracking alone, a mid-market company (roughly $50M to $500M revenue) should plan $200 to $500 a month, or $2,400 to $6,000 a year, on a public plan with 100 to 350 prompts. That covers one brand, the main engines and daily runs. Add the people cost: someone has to read the report every week and turn it into work. In our Search Console read, 60 of 229 leadership questions were about proving the return to finance (Indexable AI, 2026), so set the budget with the measurement plan attached, not after it.
Three situations change the number:
- Several brands or countries. Expect the top public plan or a custom tier. Peec's Advanced plan lists 5 projects and multi-country at $495; beyond that it is custom (checked October 28, 2026).
- Regulated industries or procurement requirements. You will be on an enterprise tier whatever the prompt count, because the contract terms are what you are buying.
- No team to act on the findings. Then the tracker's price is the small number. Either budget the content and technical work separately or price an agent platform that includes it.
You can start by running the free tiers (AthenaHQ's free credits, Profound's 7-day trial, Otterly's and Peec's trials) against the same 25 questions for two weeks. Then, buy the plan whose report your team actually read.
Why do agent platforms cost more than trackers?
Because they replace work, not a spreadsheet. A tracker tells you that AI names a competitor on 40 of your buyers' questions and not you. Closing that gap means writing or rewriting the pages, earning mentions on the sites the AI reads, and fixing whatever stops the AI from reading your site. That is content, outreach and technical work, done every week. Agent platforms run that loop and bring each change to a person for approval.
Indexable AI is our own platform and the one agent platform in the table, so read this part as the vendor's view. Our pricing is per domain per month: Growth $15,000, Scale $20,000, Enterprise $25,000, and $30,000 and up for complex estates; the full breakdown, and the comparison with a hire or an in-house team, is on our pricing page. Some trackers also sell "agent" features now (AthenaHQ lists a content optimization agent; Peec lists agent actions; Profound lists agents with an approval step, all checked October 11 to 28, 2026). The question to ask any vendor is the same: after the report, who does the work, and who approves it?
What does enterprise AI visibility cost when there is no public price?
Nobody in the table prints an enterprise price, so the honest answer is a range you build from the public plans. The top public plans sit at $489 to $495 a month for 350 to 400 prompts. An enterprise brief usually asks for more prompts, more engines, more countries, SSO and a contract, and vendors price that per year. Ask each vendor for the price per 100 prompts per engine per month; it makes custom quotes comparable.
What to put in the request for quote: the prompt count by market, the engines you need (and which are add-ons), the number of brands and seats, the data export you need for your own reporting, and whether the price includes recommendations only or the execution of changes. Enterprise SEO software follows the same pattern; our enterprise SEO pricing guide covers which of those vendors publish prices and which do not.
How do you justify the cost to a CFO?
Report the platform as the measurement line for a channel the board already cares about, not as a new channel. A $2,400 to $6,000 a year tracker is a rounding error next to the organic budget it measures; the argument is whether the number it produces changes a decision. Show the three numbers on one page (how often AI names you, which of your pages it used, and your organic share for the same questions) and attach the question list. The one-page board report template has the layout and the CFO's four questions with answers.
For the agent-platform price, use the comparison the CFO already understands: the cost of the people who would otherwise do the writing, outreach and technical fixes. Implement a two-quarter test with a fixed question list and a stop rule, and the conversation moves from price to results.
Frequently asked questions
How much do AI search visibility platforms cost?
Public plans run from $29 to $495 a month, set mainly by the number of prompts tracked (15 to 400). Enterprise tiers are custom. Agent platforms that also execute the fixes start at about $15,000 per domain per month (prices read October 28, 2026).
Which AI visibility platforms fit a mid-market budget?
Plans at $189 to $295 a month (100 to 150 prompts) fit one brand in one market. Multi-brand or multi-country teams land on the top public plans at $489 to $495 or on custom tiers.
Is there a free AI visibility tool?
AthenaHQ lists a free tier with 300 credits, and Profound, Peec and Otterly list free trials. The free tiers are enough to test a fixed question list for two weeks, not to run a program.
Do these prices include fixing the problems the tool finds?
Most mid-tier plans include recommendations. Writing the content, earning mentions and shipping technical changes is either your team's work or an agent platform's, and it is priced separately.
How often do these prices change?
Often. Between our September 20 and October 11 checks, one vendor changed its trial from 10 prompts to 50 and another's entry price moved. We re-check every 90 days and print the date next to each price.
